well, i promised a story:

The assignment was basically to redo American Gothic. the best designs were to be chosen for a poster for a art show later in the year. So I was assigned this in three different classes. Art3, Digital imiging, and Photo 3. my art teacher knew this and said i could just use the digital one for art.

I guess its too subtle for most people to care.
then i did the photo one... which im not to fond of w/e skip ahead two weeks. my art teacher decides hes not going to accept my first AG, and wants me to make another one...by tomorrow. (btw my art grade magically dropped from an A to a C, the day he announced this)

so ive spent the past 4 or 5 hours messing around in photoshop (and procrastinating) so i can bring my grade up before the semester ends tmmro. and tada! this is what i have to show for it. this is the alternate version [link]

oh, and apparently my design wasnt even considered for the poster contest, because it was "too violent" grrrrr
